35 Years-old-lady got death after her saree stuck between the doors of Delhi Metro on 14th dec. Investigation justified her name was Reena Devi was travelling in Delhi from Nangloi to Mohan Nagar accompanied by her son. This accident took place at the Inderlok metro station of delhi.

Delhi Police have asked for the CCTV footage of the incident from DMRC and initiated an Inquiry proceeding under Section 174 of the CrPC act. Saree getting tucked between the gates of the Metro caused her serious injuries and dragged her a mile away, before this brought her down on the track.
"If negligence is identified, a case will be registered," said a senior police officer. As per sources, initial investigation reports that the Metro door's sensor failed to detect or touch the presence of the woman's clothing, leading to the accident.
Following the incident, she was rapidly rushed to Safdarjung Hospital and admitted to the ICU ward of Neurosurgery. The neurosurgery department reported that she got severe head injuries and chest trauma at 4.20 p.m. on Saturday.
