Saudi Zakir, an absconder who had escaped after the NIA searched his home last month, was apprehended on Thursday after being located and brought into prison in Kochi, Kerala. He established an illegal entry point into India via the Bangladesh-India border, where he established a rubbish collection and segregation unit.
According to investigations, the accused entered India illegally through Benapole, which is located on the border between Bangladesh and India. After relocating to the Bellandur neighborhood of Bengaluru, Karnataka, he established a Waste Collection and Segregation Unit.
According to investigations, the guilty were also giving fictitious Aadhar cards to those who were being trafficked across the border.
